How to Use
The Smarty Saver allows the delivery of one or more defibrillation shocks to an adult or pediatric patient with ventricular fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia via a BTE (Bone-End Echocardiogram) that equalizes chest resistance.
Step 1 – The fully automated system analyzes the patient's electrocardiogram (ECG), and if a shock-prone rhythm is detected, it will warn the user of impending shock.
Step 2 – The next step is cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The operator will be guided by audio prompts and a metronome that distinguishes the different cycles of compressions and breaths.
