Course Guidline:
- First day of the mATLS course is online ( Zoom lectures ) - Second Day is onsite ( Practical and Exam )
- mATLS Course second onsite day starts from 7 AM until 7 PM (Ramadan Timing will be different and participant will receive timing details through the email)
- Participant must arrive on time.
- Participant order will be confirmed within 24H and you will receive only order confirmation notifiction first.
- In case participant have chosen pick up for the ATLS material, participant should imedietly visit our center ( Jed or Riyadh ) to pick it up.
- In case participant have chosen shipping, Participant should follow up directly.
- Participants will receive an email with the access of mATLS online 13 Modules on their email and they must finish it before the course.
- Participant will receive a reminder a day before the course with the final attending details ( Location, Timing..etc).
Course Description
mATLS®—the newest addition to the ATLS program—is comprised of 13 online modules designed to replace the interactive discussion component of the traditional ATLS course so that learners may complete it at their own pace. After completion of these modules, learners will proceed to their registered course sites to complete the hands-on skills portion of the course following a prescribed 1.5-day skills practicum schedule.
This course provided by American College of Surgeons, is designed to train physicians who are in a position to provide the first hours of emergency care to trauma victims.
Successful candidates will be awarded four-year certification. All courses are conducted according to the guidelines of the American College of Surgeons.
Course Objectives:
The Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS®) Course provides the participant with a safe, reliable method for immediate management of the injured patient and the basic knowledge necessary to:
- Assess a trauma patient rapidly and accurately.
- Resuscitate and stabilize by priority.
- Determine needs and capabilities.
- Arrange for transfer to definitive care.
- Assure optimum care.
Upon successful completion of the ATLS® Course, the participant will be able to:
- Demonstrate concepts/principles of primary and secondary assessment.
- Establish management priorities.
- Initiate primary/secondary management.
- Demonstrate the skills necessary to assess/manage the critically injured patient.
