Cell-free DNA tubes are vacuum-sealed blood collection tubes , preservative-free and formaldehyde-free, that immobilize nucleated blood cells. This unique immobilization prevents the release of genomic DNA (gDNA) and reduces hemolysis, allowing for the isolation of high-quality cell-free DNA (cf DNA). These tubes have also been shown to reduce the lysis of circulating tumor cells (CTCs).
