Protocol 203 Post-Surgical Gel is a medical product used to treat scars after surgical procedures. It is a clear silicone gel consisting of a water-in-oil micelle emulsion. This emulsion allows for exceptional penetration of the active ingredients through the skin.
Protocol 203 uses a post-operative gel to minimize the appearance of scars, including raised (hypertrophic) and depressed (hypertrophic) scars. It also helps reduce itching, redness, and pain in the affected area.
How to use Protocol 203 Gel post-surgery
- Protocol 203 Post-Surgery Gel should be used twice daily, morning and evening. Apply it to the affected area after washing and thoroughly drying it. Gently rub the gel in until it is completely absorbed.
- Protocol 203 Gel should be used post-surgery for at least one month. In cases of hypertrophic scars, it can be used for an additional four weeks. In cases of excessive scarring, it can be used for four months.
Active ingredients in Protocol 203 Post-Surgical Gel
Protocol 203 Post-Surgery Gel contains a blend of cyclopentasilicones. These substances help modify skin cells, resulting in a reduction in the appearance of scars.
Contraindications for using Protocol 203 Gel post-operatively
Protocol 203 Post-Surgery Gel should not be used on open or recent wounds. It should also not be used if the patient is allergic to any of its ingredients.
